ClubSafe Certification

Eligibility for Clubsafe Certification requires clubs to meet the minimum operating requirements outlined below.  By signing up to Clubsafe Certification, you are illustrating best practice for clubs and will receive the outlined benefits.

What is required?

Membership/Affiliation

If applicable confirmation of any National Governing Body membership/affiliation/accreditation.

Minimum £5 million public liability insurance in place.

Child Protection

If you provide a service for under 18 (youth) or vulnerable adults, policies and procedures are required to be in place. This includes designated Child Protection/Vulnerable Adult Officers.

All staff, coaching and volunteers that are supervising or managing children (U18) or vulnerable adults must be part of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups membership Scheme.
